DEVELOPING IDEAS

This week our task was really to refine our 3 ideas, not just a concept but more of 3 final idea, drawn to scale to see
proportion, circulation, and how we would move fit within the minima, through sectioning.

RESEARCH:
Through researching more about minimal structures I came across an architect called Gabriel Poole who specfically designs tent like structures with few materials,lightweight structures with a compact floor plan.

REFINING IDEAS:
Getting your head round the idea of minimal, plus the design has to be relocatable was quite a task. So my designs are a development of a caravan or tent like structures with pull down tables, storage within objects for example storage under the bed.

MATERIALS:
Materils for the minima needed to be light weight so I decided on sheet plastic for the windows and plywood for the roof and walls which isn't that lightweight but once it's divided up into panels it shouldn't be a problem.
