My concept 1 looked at the idea of pods for the three people living for privacy in the house and separete living areas and facilities.
Our climate is hot and humid so we looked into the what is needed to prevent the house getting hot.
Have chosen light weight materials to build the building out of as this is good for cyclonic areas, which our site is situated in.
The idea of maximum air flow through the house i tried to maximise external walls which allow the windows to be either side of each other which then creates air flow.
The wooden slats of some of the windows allows for privacy as well as proptection from the hot sun.
Solar panels are situated in all areas onf the house. I was going on the idea each area would have a seperate electrical system. Each would gain electricity from its own solar panels.
The hosue is situated on stilts so as to create air flow under the house as much as possible.
The outdoor entertaining area is on the is protected by a screening wall which also protects the living area from direct sun light.
High ceilings also helps with the air circulation within the house.
