I’ve chosen this particular area in accordance to the site chosen by the group.
Design Process
I’ve taken a few problems into consideration like how steep the level of the soil/site, and how well it would dwell with the concept Minima (to create a minimal space).
I’ve decided to provide solutions to these problems.
a) The level of the soil/site is too steep.
b) How materials that are used for this space would react to the atmosphere of the site (.i.e. it’s facing the sea water)
So for solution (a), I’ve designed two methods on overcoming problem (a).

Since the site is a bit too steep for the design of my space, I thought of putting stilts underneath the base of my design.
And the second solution to problem (a) would be
With this, I’ve chosen the 2nd solution to problem (a), because instead of having to take into considerations like how much weight of my minima space the stilts could support, and it’s easier and simpler with the 2nd solution.
For problem (b), materials like steel are avoided, and since it’s facing the sea, and it might rusty quickly and I would try to cover up as much as I can for the front interior as well as the exterior of my minima space.
But, I do take into account, where the sun rises and how much indoor lighting a person needs for his/bedroom space.
I’ve also referred to a few architects, like Renzo Piano, and how he made his building look somewhat like a building that is detachable even when it is not. For this space, I’ve decided that the formation of the space would look as if it was detachable but the connection from panel to panel is strong.
(A hotel in
With this space, I’ve created a suitable space catered for 1 person, which includes bed space, studying/working space, kitchen, a toilet with shower.
Here is the outcome and the poster.

I like the hotel in Saudi Arabia, Thats a very very steep site, would have made a good response to our site for minima.
Your model making skills are of a very high standard, keep the good work up!
